Enduro motorcycle riding on historic Paris-Dakar desert tracks in southern Morocco

Indicative route

day 1

Merzouga → Ramlia

Leave Merzouga and Erg Chebbi behind as the expedition heads south toward Ramlia. The first day introduces sand, open desert pistes and rocky terrain, including sections of old rally-style tracks associated with historic Paris-Dakar routes. Lunch is provided during the journey before dinner and the overnight in Ramlia.

day 2

Ramlia → Tafraoute Sidi Ali

Ride from Ramlia deeper into the Sahara toward Tafraoute Sidi Ali through wide desert landscapes, sandy sections, dry tracks and rocky pistes far from main roads. The 4x4 support vehicle carries luggage and supplies while we continue to the overnight stop.

day 3

Tafraoute Sidi Ali → Zagora region

Continue west toward the Zagora region on a longer expedition stage. The terrain changes throughout the day as we combine open rally-style pistes, rocky ground, sand and remote southern Moroccan landscapes. Lunch is included along the route, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation in the Zagora area.

day 4

Zagora region → Ouzina area

Turn east toward the desert around Ouzina, following a different combination of Sahara pistes selected according to current sand, weather and riding conditions. This stage continues the Paris-Dakar-inspired expedition experience through isolated terrain before reaching Ouzina for the night.

day 5

Ouzina → Merzouga

The final riding day returns to Merzouga through sand, open desert tracks and the landscapes surrounding Erg Chebbi. We use a different return line whenever conditions allow, giving the group one final varied Sahara ride before arriving back at our Merzouga base.
