Tour terms and riding information
Touring Enduro Morocco organizes private guided enduro tours from Merzouga and through southern Morocco. Final dates, route, price, motorcycle assignment, accommodation and payment terms are confirmed in the quotation or booking correspondence.
Licence and rider responsibility
Every rider must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the motorcycle being ridden and must follow the guide’s safety instructions. Riders should accurately describe their off-road experience when enquiring.
Insurance
The motorcycles have bike insurance. That does not provide personal rider, medical or travel insurance. Riders are responsible for arranging suitable personal cover for the activities they book.
Route changes
Desert routes are not guaranteed GPS tracks. Weather, sand, flooded riverbeds, local access, mechanical issues, safety considerations and rider ability can require changes before or during the tour.
Meals and accommodation
For a one-day Merzouga ride, lunch is excluded. On multi-day routes leaving Merzouga, lunches are provided and breakfast and dinner are included with the booked accommodation, unless a specific quotation states otherwise.
Mechanical support
On supported multi-day routes, the 4x4 can carry luggage and supplies and can transport a motorcycle that cannot continue because of a breakdown. This is logistical assistance and does not eliminate the inherent risks of off-road riding.
Dakar name
References to “Dakar-style tracks” or historic rally pistes describe the character or history of desert riding in Morocco. Touring Enduro Morocco is not affiliated with the Dakar Rally or its organizers.
